New Monarch cabin crew take to the skies

Monarch’s 18 newest recruits, who will be based at London Luton airport, were presented with their wings by Monarch’s Chief Operations Officer Nils Christy and Head of Cabin Services Ann Marie Cottee. Friends and family were present to join in the celebrations.

The wings presentation is the culmination of an intensive training course as well as seven exams which cover Safety and Emergency Procedures, delivering Service Excellence and First Aid training. They also participated in a 10-day ‘Customer Service Excellence’ training exercise which culminated in the ceremony on the last day.

Nils Christy comments:

– We are delighted to welcome 18 new cabin crew members to our London Luton base. Our new crew were very excited to mark this special occasion with their friends and family also present. On behalf of all the team at London Luton, we wish them all the best in their new roles and welcome them to our base.”
