Sunday 21 June is the day in 2015 where the sun reaches it’s highest position on our sky. It is the day where your shadow is the shortest in the year. In English, it is called Solstice.
Naturist Association Thailand will celebrate our magical mystery love of the sun and our naked skin with special games in the afternoon and a campfire party in the evening. We will celebrate Solstice in Scandinavian style wearing flowers in our hair, dancing around the fire – with free flow of hot dogs and other delicious stuff on the grill, plenty of beer in the cooler and midnight splashes in the pool!
In ancient China, summer solstice was observed by a ceremony to celebrate the Earth, femininity, and the “yin” forces. It complemented the winter solstice that celebrated the heavens, masculinity and “yang” forces. So we will add in the Chinese tribute to the female Yin forces among us!
