During the annual Airline Strategy Awards ceremony, which took place on July 14 in London, the Latvian airline airBaltic Chief Executive Officer Martin Gauss received Sector Leadership Award. This award is granted to the chief executive and management team demonstrating excellence in leading a carrier providing strong transportation links within a market sector.

The Airline Strategy Awards, organized by Airline Business with Korn Ferry, celebrates individuals and airlines that have exhibited dynamic leadership and clear vision. The Sector Leadership Award category applies to all types of carriers — Including scheduled, charter, passenger, cargo, and others — operating either independently or serving mainline network majors.
