Dana Dunne was monday january 26th appointed as Chief Executive Officer for eDreams ODIGEO , with immediate effect. Dana Dunne, who joined eDreams ODIGEO as Chief Operating Officer in 2012, will replace Javier Pérez-Tenessa de Block who will remain with the Company as Honorary Chairman. Philip Wolf who joined the Board in April 2014 has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman, with immediate effect.

Dana Dunne brings many years of experience to the company, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of AOL Europe Sarl., and Chief Commercial Officer of EasyJet plc.

After 15 years with the company, Javier Pérez-Tenessa de Block has informed the Board of his decision to step down as Chief Executive Officer and will remain with the Company as Honorary Chairman.

Javier Pérez-Tenessa de Block, founder and outgoing Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of eDreams ODIGEO said:

– After 15 years with eDreams ODIGEO, firstly as Founder and CEO of eDreams then as Chairman and CEO of eDreams ODIGEO, I feel this is the right time for me to step aside. For me this has been a long journey, turning an idea into a successful global business, with presence in 43 countries, over 15 million customers and 5 global brands, and I am confident that Dana is the right person to lead the company going forward.”
