airBaltic Expands in Norway – New Direct Flights from Oslo Torp to Vilnius

The Latvian airline airBaltic has announced a further expansion in Norway by adding new direct flights between Oslo Torp and Vilnius, Lithuania. This will be the third destination airBaltic operates from Oslo Torp and five destination overall, offered by the airline from Norway.

Thomas Ramdahl, SVP Network Management at airBaltic:

– We are pleased to announce our further expansions in Norway by launching this new route. We are constantly evaluating the market and are committed to further improving the connectivity to and from the Norwegian market.  Vilnius is a vibrant and diverse city, and the new route will serve as a destination for both leisure and business travel.”

– We are grateful to our partners – Oslo Torp Airport – for the ongoing cooperation and supporting the airBaltic expansion in Norway, Thomas Ramdahl added.

Up to two weekly flights will be operated on this route, offering passengers two service classes – Economy and Business Class. The first flight between the two cities is scheduled for October 29, 2024 and the tickets are already available for purchase on the company’s homepage.

Currently, from Oslo Torp airBaltic operates three weekly flights to Copenhagen and during the winter season – a weekly service to Gran Canaria.
 
The flights between Oslo Torp and Vilnius will be operated by Airbus A220-300 aircraft – one of the most efficient commercial aircraft in the skies. The A220-300 offers an excellent flying experience with such benefits for passengers as wider seats, larger windows, more hand luggage space in the cabin, improved lavatories, and delivering better overall performance, fuel efficiency, and convenience for both passengers and the staff.
