airBaltic Flies to 5 Football Destinations in Russia

The Latvian airline airBaltic is going to serve five destinations in Russia next summer, offering travellers from across Europe, Scandinavia and the Middle East convenient connections via Riga to the majority of football cities in Russia.

Wolfgang Reuss, SVP of Network Management of airBaltic:

– Offering flights to the biggest European cities and most notable Russian destinations, Riga serves as an excellent gateway to Russia for most Europeans. In many cases airBaltic will be the one offering the fastest connection between cities in the EU and Russia.”

– All of the five destinations will be among the host cities for 2018 FIFA World Cup and the connection via Riga will offer convenient flight options for those who are planning to attend the championship,” Reuss added.

Route Flight frequency
Riga — Moscow Up to 4 daily flights
Riga — St. Petersburg Up to 4 daily flights
Riga — Kaliningrad 6 flights weekly
Riga — Sochi 2 flights weekly
Riga — Kazan 2 flights weekly

Next summer airBaltic will continue to offer up to four daily flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In addition, the airline will also perform regular flights to Kaliningrad, Sochi and Kazan. A complete schedule of airBalticflights can be found on the company’s homepage .
