BCD Travel achieves highest-possible sustainability rating

BCD Travel has earned the highest-possible rating in a prestigious, independent assessment measuring sustainability performance. It marks the fifth straight year the travel management company has maintained its position among the top 1% of all suppliers assessed by EcoVadis, the world’s leading platform for corporate social responsibility audits.

EcoVadis this year revised its rating structure by creating a Platinum level, a special distinction for the highest-performing companies worldwide. In 2019, BCD achieved a Gold rating, then the highest, for the fourth consecutive year.

– As communities around the world battle COVID-19, it puts a spotlight on how important it is to work with others to solve problems, said Kathy Jackson, BCD Travel Vice President and Executive Chair of Sustainability.

– This is what sustainability is all about—companies working with employees, customers, suppliers and other partners in the supply chain to resolve environmental and social issues because that’s good for business today and the right thing to do for future generations.”
