DIA visitors who spend a one-day total of $20 or more at any single or combined retailer or restaurant in the airport can present their receipts at one of four giant gift boxes located on level 6 of the Jeppesen Terminal and in the centers of the A, B and C concourses. In exchange, passengers may draw a gift from a holiday bag stuffed by more than 140 DIA concessionaires.

The giveaway will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day from Dec. 20 through Jan. 4.

Each of the 9-foot-high, 5-foot-wide gift boxes are loaded with a wide range of gifts representing the products and services of concessionaires located throughout DIA, as well as other travel-related gifts.

Airport guests can receive gifts ranging from cookies and coffee to massages, clothing, toys, travel-related comfort items and audio equipment. There are also numerous prizes for Denver-area attractions, including tickets to the Museum of Nature and Science and Denver Zoo Lights.

Top-valued gifts include flight vouchers from Spirit and Frontier Airlines and a three-night stay at the Vail Cascade Resort. All of the gift items were donated by airport retailers and restaurants, as well as airlines and travel/tourism related businesses.

– We know that travel around the holidays can be stressful, and Denver International Airport is teaming up with our business partners to say ‘thank you’ and provide some holiday cheer to our passengers,” said Neil Maxfield, DIA’s senior vice president of concessions.

– We are thankful that our passengers continue to support our shopping and dining program, and we are committed to continuing to improve our retail and dining options by adding a variety of shops, restaurants, services and amenities that enhance the traveling experience.”
