Discover Airlines celebrates inaugural flights: From Frankfurt to the Seychelles and from Munich to Punta Cana

Last Sunday, Discover Airlines had two reasons to celebrate: its two nearly fully booked inaugural flights, 4Y156 from Frankfurt to the Seychelles and 4Y4 from Munich to Punta Cana, took off on time. While the Munich flight departed for the Caribbean at 12:45 p.m., the Frankfurt flight set course for the islands in the Indian Ocean at 9:45 p.m. After landing, guests and crews from both flights were warmly welcomed.

With the Seychelles, Discover Airlines is adding a brand new destination to its flight schedule and increasing the limited number of direct connections from Germany. Due to high demand, the connection, which was originally only planned for the winter season (October to April), will now be offered year-round. Flights depart from Frankfurt on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Caribbean offer bigger than ever – now also from Munich

Punta Cana is located in the Dominican Republic, which is one of the most popular holiday destinations for tourists from Germany, especially during the winter months. From October to the end of April, Discover Airlines connects Munich with the Caribbean every Wednesday and Sunday. During the winter holidays, there is also an additional connection every Monday.

Discover Airlines has been flying from Frankfurt to the Dominican Republic since summer 2021. With the new additional connection from Germany’s second-largest airport, Discover Airlines is further expanding its presence in the Caribbean and now offers up to eight weekly flights to the region.

All flights can be booked via discover-airlines.com, lufthansa.com, as well as through all German tour operators and travel agencies.
